Dieguez Fridman is an architecture studio based in Buenos Aires, founded in 2000 by Tristán Diéguez and Axel Fridman. The studio has developed projects in Argentina, Mexico, the United States, and China. It has received several awards, including first prizes in the competitions for the expansion of the UBA Faculty of Economic Sciences (2004), the design of the UBA Faculty of Psychology (2006), and the Joint Institute for Strategic Coordination (ICCE) (2017). Their project Clay 2928 received second prize in the City Government’s Architecture Awards in the multifamily housing category (2008), and their building Newbery 3364 won the FADEA Architecture Competition in 2024. In 2008, they were selected by Herzog & de Meuron to take part in the Ordos 100 project in China, and were also invited by MAD Architects (Beijing) to join the team designing the new Guiyang Huaxi Urban Center in southern China. In 2009, Dieguez Fridman was chosen to represent Argentina at the First Latin American Architecture Biennial in Pamplona, Spain. The studio also participated in Prague Architecture Week 2012, ENADII Mexico 2010, and the 16th Architecture Biennial in Santiago de Chile (2008). Their work has been featured in local and international publications such as A+U, Arquitectura Viva, Arquine, 2G, Frame, Metropolis, and Wallpaper.
