This house, located on a sloped site within a Córdoba ranch, engages the landscape. Sited across a small valley from the original ranch house, it balances concealment and view. The design strategy integrates the building with its surroundings while providing framed perspectives of the mountains.
A folded slab roof, planted with local vegetation, merges the structure with the terrain. This roof system, beyond its functional role, visually connects the building to the landscape. An inverted beam system supports the roof, allowing long spans and minimizing supports to a single column. This structural approach creates a sense of lightness and maximizes views.
